Whether knitted or crocheted, properly fitting mittens are a delight in the winter for one basic reason - they keep your hands warm. Wool, of course, is the fiber of choice and it can be soft, luxurious and even machine washable. COLOR, COLOR, COLOR is my passion in mittens and the choices are limitless. The cuffs can be long or short and you can cut them short and make them into wristlets - these are a fun and easy project on larger needles. Click on the pic for a larger view and description.
